Palliative Care is Patient-Centered Care

"When I think about palliative care, I think about it as really good, patient-centered care," says Dr. Karin Porter-Williamson, medical director for palliative care at the University of Kansas Medical Center. A School of Medicine and the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics and Palliative Care for several years and recently received a jolt with a $2 million grant from the Donald W.
