Because of the overwhelming response to "Ask the Professor", this resource will be extended for a year, until the 2010 World Hospice and Palliative Care Day event sponsored by the Oklahoma Palliative Care Resource Center.  This was the only event sponsored in Oklahoma and the inquiries demonstrated a need for more education for consumers and health providers.

The Oklahoma Palliative Care Resources Blog celebrates "World Hospice & Palliative Care Day" with "Ask the Professor".  Annette Prince, J.D., Clinical Assistant Professor at the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center Department of Family Medicine, will address questions and comments regarding Oklahoma laws relating to planning  for medical treatment in advance of incapacity.  Address comments to email:  ok-palliative@ouhsc.edu.
